Thanks to the princesses, we have not yet been bombarded with Barbie and all of her interchangeable outfits, shoes, and accessories. The other day, however, we were blessed with our first ones. "Barbie in India" is what it actually said on the box. Sarah's parents bought one for each of the grand-daughters. Allison and Madison loved theirs. Fortunately, they did not fight over the colors of the sari's. Madison chose to open and play with hers immediately. Allison is waiting to decide if hers will stay "safe" in the box, or if she will eventually open hers. Madison, who names all her dolls and animals, has temporarily named hers "Sarah" until she can talk with grandma and grandpa and see what some common Indian names are. We included a picture of Parker. He was not at all upset that there wasn't anything in the box for him. He was upset that he wasn't in the picture!
