Happy 4th of July!

We had a great 4th of July! (Other than it was pretty hot, the humidity was through the roof, and we kept applying the bug spray.) During the day, the house got cleaned out and organized--which is happy news when such house is up for sale. And then that evening we had a great BBQ with some of our best-est friends. It's always great to share some really good food with those kinds of people! One of our friends had a great fireworks package that we spent quite some time setting off in the parking lot of the recreation center across the street from our neighborhood. The kids loved it! The police officer was nice enough to let us stay as long as we cleaned up. And, the "big boys" were still going, up until 10:00, even though you tell the kids were ready to go to bed!
