The end is in sight

...for Jeremy and his time at American University.  Monday, the kids had off from school, so we went up and had lunch (in the generic food court) with him.  I thought it'd be a great idea to snap a few shots of us as a family while there, too.  The kids love to run around the campus grounds, and we've noticed that it makes some of the students smile, too.  On occasion, we've run into one of his professor's or other classmates.  The building behind us in one of the pictures is the one that Jeremy had all of his classes in.  It was just finished being built as Jeremy started his degree.  Jeremy is in there studying so often that the architect of the building had noticed him using a certain space so frequently that he even quizzed Jeremy about how he liked it and the architect was very pleased that this special study space he'd thought would help students actually was.  The graduation reception is just a month away.  The finals (papers in Jeremy's case) are due around that time and within a week or so after.  His degree paper will say that he holds a "Master's in International Service" but he had a strong focus in "Southeast Asian Security Issues."  The end is in sight!
