DisneyWorld trip--Day 1--Magic Kingdom

Here we go...  Lots of pictures.

Sunday, January 1, 2012.  Got up and went to Sacrament Meeting part of church with Grandma and Grandpa Wood.  Came home and had lunch, packed up the suitcases and the car.  Arrived in Orlando, two hours from Sarasota.  Went to Magic Kingdom first.

Here's our hotel, Shades of Green.  It is owned by MWR, which is a recreation section of the Armed Forces.  It is open to all military, retired military, and DOD civilians.
Here's looking out our hotel balcony.  Yes, the weather was just right!
Picture of the kids just as we are about to enter:
No matter what your age, everyone loves Cinderella's Castle:

No matter what your age, everyone loves to drive a car (but especially those not yet 16):

The Teacup ride is always a favorite.  I chose not to video that and spare us all some dizzying scenery:
The Winnie-the-Pooh ride is also very fun:
Cinderella's Castle is especially beautiful all lit up with the changing colors and the icicle lights:

And, you can never miss out on a fun, spectacularly decorated parade:

Nor can you pass up on dessert:
