DisneyWorld trip--Day 5--Hollywood Studios

Today we spent the day at Disney's Hollywood Studios (formerly known to some as MGM):

We saw the "Beauty and the Beast" Musical:

Jeremy, the girls (Allison and Madison), and Parker went on this "ride." It's like an elevator that shoots you up, drops you down, and slides you left and right:

Allison really, really wanted to try out for this. Too bad she wasn't the required age of 14:

Parker was in absolute heaven to meet Lightning McQueen and Mater. (Check out the picture of Madison with Lightning, though!):

Jeremy had to go stop by ESPN's Wide World of Sports Complex, so he took Madison and McKenna with him. Sarah, Allison and Parker caught the afternoon parade of these fun characters:

nd we got some more character signatures before "rocking out" with them in another show later:

We all loved the decorative landscaping in all the parks. This is another fun, amusing one:

We also caught the fantastical "Fantasmic" water show:

And every time I see someone's post about DW, I think that half of it would be totally lost on my kids. We've never been Disney Channel watchers, so they have no idea who Jake the Pirate (is that his name?) or Handy Manny or people like that are. Jeremy earned his Bachelor's in Criminal Justice and Sarah earned hers in Child and Family Development. Jeremy spent a total of 13 years with the Army. Jeremy recently graduated with a Master's in International Affairs from American University. He speaks Spanish and Malay. He goes to work at his "dream job" which he's been with for almost 8 years. Sarah taught preschool after her degree and then became a "stay-at-home" mom (yeah, right!). She is the CEO, CFO, COO, CIO, etc. of everything related to the family. This is our ninth house (ID, MO, KY, TX, KY, CA, GA, VA, SG). We are now six: Jeremy, Sarah, Allison, Madison, Parker, and McKenna. We stay busy in Singapore! We like to soak up all the adventures of the places around us and deal with the ones we are given!

When I Die...
