Sentosa Island

Singapore itself is an island (maybe 26 miles across by 23 miles up and down).  But, it also has many islands as a part of it (maybe 25-ish?).  They are all relatively small.  There is one just south of Singapore itself (like a footbridge walk kind of close) called Sentosa Island which we FINALLY (according to Allison) made it to a few Saturday's ago.  It's a big "hot spot" because this is where Universal Studios is located, many resorts are, and most importantly where there are a bunch of small attractions to try.  We bought a package for all of us to try these fun little adventures.  Here we are doing the cable car across:

 We rode the luge and the "ski" lift:

This is the Merlion.  It is a famous, mythical creature that Singaporean's made up for a few different reasons, woven into one story that's a bit confusing:

We went inside the mouth, and up to the top to look out over the area:

 We also tried the Segway's.  That was an adventure for some:

Singapore is one of the top five busiest ports in the world (and depending on the year, or the time of the year, it can actually be the top busiest):
