"The" Wallpaper

In the negotiating process of purchasing our new house, we stipulated that all wallpaper must come down and be painted an off-white color. We also stipulated that the painted-over-panelling in the basement must be removed and replaced with drywall. Since we shared that with those who wanted to know about the house, many people have also wanted to know what it looked like. Here are some of the photos.

To make sure that I would never hurt the seller's feelings, I would like to state: the wallpaper is in excellent condition; it goes well with the rest of the house; the decor and furniture match; and so do the really, really well-done curtains! She has great decorating sense and placement. It'll be helpful for me. We just have different styles.

We promise to take "after" pictures. It'll have new walls and our furniture! Yay!
