D.C. Kite Flying

We went down to D.C. on Saturday for the Annual Kite-Flying on the Washington Monument and Mall lawns sponsored by the Smithsonian. There was wind that would die down and pick back up off and on. Grandma and Grandpa Wood had arrived just the day before!

Allison and Jeremy have joined in. There was a pretty good crowd there. Once Madison's string was tangled in someone else's and it took some "fanagling" to undo. Allison's was once so high, that as it was coming down quickly it tangled too fast that we ended up cutting and retying.
