Madison's Birthday Party

Madison is getting ready to turn seven! We had a great party at Michael's in their "Craft Room." We had a nice mixture of girlfriends from school, church and the neighborhood in attendance. Everyone arrived and we started with a foam door hanger with foam letter and bug stickers!

Then, we painted little wooden bags, received some painting tips, and glued on jewels!

Madison is still into Paris, the Eiffel Tower, and poodles. Thanks to the Harris Teeter bakery for concocting this cake for us, to Madison's nightstand for this Eiffel Tower (you can still purchase at Target) and to a great friend (who had made Allison's cake earlier this year) who put the adorable poodles together for us!

We blew out birthday candles, cut cake, ate big pieces, sipped on Kool-Aid, and sent everyone home with their art projects and goodie bags!

Jeremy earned his Bachelor's in Criminal Justice and Sarah earned hers in Child and Family Development. Jeremy spent a total of 13 years with the Army. Jeremy recently graduated with a Master's in International Affairs from American University. He speaks Spanish and Malay. He goes to work at his "dream job" which he's been with for almost 8 years. Sarah taught preschool after her degree and then became a "stay-at-home" mom (yeah, right!). She is the CEO, CFO, COO, CIO, etc. of everything related to the family. This is our ninth house (ID, MO, KY, TX, KY, CA, GA, VA, SG). We are now six: Jeremy, Sarah, Allison, Madison, Parker, and McKenna. We stay busy in Singapore! We like to soak up all the adventures of the places around us and deal with the ones we are given!

When I Die...
