Our Week in Review

Last Saturday we went down to Mount Vernon, one more time.  We've had an annual pass, but it's usually just Sarah and the kids.  That being said, we've never made it into the mansion.  We made that trip with this sole purpose.

Sunday we made it back to our church, the first in a month.

Monday was Jeremy's day off.  He finished his Language training class on the previous Friday.  We took today to visit the National Postal Museum and had dinner at the food court at Union Station.

On Tuesday, Jeremy went up to the American University campus to purchase books for the upcoming sememster.  He spent less than $300, but walked away with seven books...and he didn't have a list for the third class, yet.

Wednesday was spent with Jeremy heading into the office to discuss "program management" stuff.  I made that up, but it's the best quick description.  Sarah took Allison and Madison to the mall to buy shoes, running shoes, and boots...and a "few" clothes at Justice.

Jeremy spent Thursday on the AU campus taking little one hour classes and meeting the faculty.  He feels a little "old."  The kids finished their swimming lessons this day.  It was Parker's very first.  Sarah and the kids headed to McDonald's with a PlayPlace for dinner.

On Friday, Jeremy repeated his day from Thursday.  Sarah and the kids rented movies from Blockbuster.  Aunt Cari came over Friday night for Sarah and Jeremy to go out on a date.   They ate at Firehouse Subs and ran some errands...very exciting (but productive!).

Yesterday, we all visited the National Cathedral, the Navy Museum (on the Navy Yard), the AU campus, and had dinner at Chicago Uno.
