NYC-Day 3

We were up and out again for our last day in New York City.  We took the subway all the way down to the lower parts of Manhattan.  Upon exiting the subway station, we realized we were at the Brooklyn Bridge.  It's a "thing" to cross it, so we did.

Then, we started with the World Trade Center/"Ground Zero."  There really isn't much of a way to see any of the construction going on.  All around the perimeter of the area is a tall chain-link fence.  The fence is covered by repeating vinyl "signs".  I took pictures of the "signs":

We then walked a short distance to Wall Street and The New York Stock Exchange:

Then, we went up to Chinatown and had lunch.  Chinatown was a little less touristy and dramatic than I expected (especially if you're one who's been to San Francisco).

We also wandered through Little Italy, Soho, and Greenwich Village.  Anytime we passed these parking "lots", Sarah felt a bit nervous for the car owners:

By now, it was coming close to needing to get on our bus and head home.  We feel fairly confident that we walked a majority of Manhattan!  We had a fantastic time and have mixed feelings about having to get up in our own beds when the alarms go off tomorrow morning!
