At church, Allison has been in Primary. This is for kids ages 3-12. During the ages of 8-11, the boys have Cub Scouts and the girls have Activity Days. Also, during this age, both the boys and girls can complete what is called "Faith in God." It is a mostly spiritual program, complete with book, that has goals to be completed each and every year. Allison completed all of hers each year, and some more.
Now that she is 12, she has entered the "Young Women's" program at church. This provides the opportunity to complete another set of goals through the "Personal Progress" program. She has until she is 18 to complete goals (and 10-hour projects) under different values. The Young Women and leaders in our ward provided Allison with a large tile with her name in the center and those values around her name in a circle.
Grandma and Grandpa Wood sent some fun items from a church bookstore. The quote that is on the wall plaque, pencil, journal, bracelet, etc. is a quote that the church is using worldwide for the youth this year.
Jeremy and Sarah also took Allison up to the Washington, D.C. Temple on the Friday night immediately after her birthday to join another ward from our stake to perform baptisms for the dead.

How fun! I love the tile - what a great idea! Congrats on getting to go to the temple, too, Allison!
Wow, I can't believe she's in YW...time flies! Do you know where her leader got the tiles? Or how they made them? I love em and just got put in at YW President :( and thought we might steal the idea!
I cannot believe she is 12! She is a beautiful young woman!
