As if Allison's party wasn't enough, we had our traditional family dinner "out." Allison picked a favorite restaurant named "Masala Wok" which serves Indian and Asian foods. She frequently orders Tikka Masala. We were able to have ALL of our local, extended family join!
At home, I had made a cake in the form of a cupcake, per Allison's request:
We brought it to the restaurant with us:
And we sang "Happy Birthday" there:
It was a great night. But, once home, she was very excited to find a present from her parents and siblings containing make-up (eye shadow and lip gloss), iTunes gift cards, and orange Icebreakers candy. Happy 12th Birthday, Allison!

Ahhh, the great 12 years old! I got makeup then too...as did Lily and Felicity. What a fun age! Happy Birthday!
