Jeremy has been in a secure location within the walls of Balad Air Base, just north of Baghdad, Iraq for the past four-and-a-half months. This was his third trip to Iraq. Because of the location that he worked in, he was not able to take his camera, therefore we've not had any pictures this time. However, we scouted out a few from the rest of the base on the internet.
This is about what his sleeping/living "quarters" looked like. It's called a trailer and it has concrete walls in front for protection.

This is what the "local restaurants" look like! A wooden building with more concrete barracades. But atleast it is American fast-food.

This is a C-130. It is usually what Jeremy flew on in and out of the base when he needed to get to another base,...or to get into Kuwait to come home!
And, this is what the kids look like when we meet dad at the gate at the airport, thanks to security passes:This is what "luggage fun" looks like!
