The Louvre...

...du Madison.

Madison has become quite the artiste (please pronounce any pertinent vocabulary in as much "Francois" as possible) this school year. In honor of this, we have been hanging her masterpieces in her own special exhibit...her bedroom. We have chosen to document this year's collection on our blog, seeing as their individual sizes are too big to survive multiple upcoming moves, as well as have as much Paris-France-French-poodles-Eiffel Tower-fun as we possibly can.

Needless to say, that when each student was tasked to make a poster of "100 things" for the 100th day of school, Madison chose 100 poodles as you can see in the top masterpiece. Each number has 33 poodles, different from the next number, with a French girl walking a poodle in front of the Eiffel Tower as the 100th poodle in the center of the first 0...of course. The bottom masterpiece is of our house in winter, with the snow falling.

This masterpiece is a self-portrait in the fall. Those are pumpkins with green vines next to her feet. See the wind swirling?

We also have a picture of our family. Back row, left to right is Jeremy, McKenna, and Sarah. Front row, left to right is Madison, Allison, and Parker.

Of course, all great artists must paint and sketch their surroundings. Therefore, we must have The White House. Not even the outdoor "chandelier" is missing:

This one is of the outdoors in spring. There are cherry blossoms (D.C., duh!) on the trees. The black on the grass below the trees are their shadows (oh, duh). The specks of color on the grass are flowers. There is a grey squirrel. He actually has "tags" to show that he belongs to someone (Duh...here, too, of course...).
