Allison's Reading...

...all kinds of things lately.  To start:
1.  Ranger's Apprentice (John Flanagan)
2.  American Girls Story Collections (American Girls)
3.  Gregor Series (Suzanne Collins)
4.  Harriet the Spy (Louise Fitzhugh)
5.  The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (Mark Twain)
6.  Anne Frank:  Diary of a Young Girl (Anne Frank)
7.  Superfudge, Doublefudge, and Frecklejuice (Judy Blume)
8.  Capital Mysteries series (Ron Roy)
Plus, sprinkle in some American Girl Mysteries and American Girl Today.  Then, add books from last school year (thank goodness we all survived--each quarter had one assigned novel and one chosen novel on top of all the normal homework).  Also, include that she dabbled in the Leven Thumps series (Obert Skye).  And, before that and in-between there somewhere she also read one original Nancy Drew book and the first Little House on the Prairie (Laura Ingalls Wilder) book.  She thought that the Nancy Drew book was too scary, but is enjoying the Nancy Drew and the Clue Crew series (Carolyn Keene), made for a little bit of the younger crowd than the originals.  She seemed unbiased on the Little House on the Prairie books and didn't continue.  I tried to get her to read a Ramona Quimby book, but she enjoyed watching the movie instead.  Anyways, she had already relished the very large Junie B. Jones (Barbara Park) series.  Plus, who wouldn't enjoy a Hannah Montana or High School Musical book re-take in there, too?  Add a Jigsaw Jones Mystery (James Preller) or two and a pile of author Jack Weyland possibilities and this is what your bedroom will always look like:

I'm quite sure that there are a few that I don't know about or have forgotten, but that does not cover all the times we came down to her bedroom to find her asleep with her glasses still on or quick cover ups to hide books under the sheets...
