Book Festival/Suzanne Collins

Last year we all went to the annual National Book Festival down on the mall.  It was great fun.  Scholatic, Borders, PBS, etc. all have huge covered pavilions with characters, activities, books, etc.  They also have author readings and signings.  The lines for the signings are enormously long.  We skipped the authors last year (even though Judy Blume was one).  So, this year we read that Suzanne Collins (for those not familiar with her works, she has numerous best-selling books and movies from them) would be signing her autograph.  Jeremy and Allison went down and stood in line.  We are going to skip the rest of the story...it goes downhill from there, including one very upset Allison, but we do have this picture to prove that she stood in line and saw her face-to-face (no autograph for people without books, no matter how long you stood in line with ushers shuffling you and not mentioning this).  That is the back of Allison's head in the bottom right-hand corner.  All feelings were "bandaged" with lunch at Cosi.
