Last night, Allison made dinner. All of it. She started looking at recipes from her "American Girl" cookbooks. Then, she chose things that she was interested in. I helped narrow it down. After that, she made a list of ingredients and a list of supplies that she would need. I took her to the grocery store to purchase any necessary items. She organized what needed to be done first and so on. Impressive. Here's what she made:
Veal Balls (with fresh, chopped parsley)
Mashed Potatoes (here she is peeling them)
Sally Lunn Bread (with one of Allison's cookbooks in background)
She also chose canned oranges as a side and ice cream with toppings for dessert. She made pink lemonade and also Cranberry Apple Juice (made lemonade and added cranberry and apple juices).

Great job Allison! Looks like a good meal.
Good job Allison. Chloe can make cookies and pancakes, but we haven't tried dinner yet.
