Crunch

went the car.

Yep.  But minor, so we should feel fortunate not to have to replace something that we have to sell next summer.  (SE Asian cars have the steering column on our passenger side.)

Jeremy was up at Lowe's getting a part for the toilet in the kids bathroom.  (This bathroom is getting more and more expensive...remember the knicked water pipe that resulted in a new dining room/family room ceiling?)

He was in the parking lot, watched a car drive past him, and then he backed out.  Well, the other car had actually driven past, then stopped and backed up...right into Jeremy backing up.  Jeremy says the other guy was really nice and driving a much nicer car than ours and they decided that it was both of their faults and swapped information.

It actually looks a little worse in person than the pictures, we are pretty positive that the cost will be more than the deductible.

All the girls were in the van with him.  The girls wanted to know why I wasn't angry.  I failed to tell them that their "Remember when you got in an accident with mom's car..." for the next several years will be payback enough!

Oh no! You can always tell them about your bad luck with cars in high school and they would understand why you are so understanding. Oh wait, perhaps not the best conversation to have with them. Oh the memories, even the bad ones.
