We made red and blue confetti cupcakes and sprinkled red and blue stars on our white frosting. We met some good friends at a park in the downtown area of Fairfax for playground fun and fireworks.
That's all.
We missed throwing a barbeque with wonderful friends and having dad home. We did not miss the crowded D.C. Metro ride from last year. We will probably miss seeing the fireworks again in the U.S. next year.
