More Friends in D.C.

It's fun to live in a place that others want to come visit.  In the past week, we've been able to see two different ones.

The first two pictures are of our good friend's we knew in the Army at Fort Hood, TX.  We are the same ages and our friend and Jeremy were close in ranks in the same Battalion.  We got to do lots of things together, in addition to our friend coming and helping Jeremy out with Scouts at our church.  They came to D.C. for a family vacation.  The last time that we saw them, Allison was 2-1/2 years old and their oldest son was only a few months old.

We had another nice surprise when we found out that another set of friends were coming into D.C. for a conference...without children, though.  We knew each other in the Army at Fort Knox, KY (our second time there), and went to church together.  We shared a lot of time together too, including my labor at the hospital the day Madison was born.  Their third child, and our Allison, are just a few months apart and were also best buddies.  The last time that we saw them was when Allison was almost five, and Madison was 2-1/2 years.
Time passes so quickly, not just from the last time that we saw these friends, but also when trying to visit and catch up!  It was great to share more moments with both!
