Here is the kids bathroom when we were looking at the house. We had the wall paper (in this room and all the others) removed as part of the purchase agreement:
About a year and a half ago we had the master bathroom gutted and remodeled. We also had some work done in the 1/2 bathroom on the main floor. We paid to have this done, and haven't regretted it since. However, Jeremy wanted to try his hand at remodeling the kids bathroom. We had purchased most of the materials for this bathroom at the same time as the other two bathrooms. Jeremy has finally been able to schedule time to get to it. We had done on the demolition work on the master bathroom. This should have been easy, too.

The difference in this bathoom is 1) a lot less space and 2) this tub has two walls on either end. Jeremy couldn't get the tub out without cutting out more drywall...which was necessary anyways. However, instead of taking out the necessary section of the wall, he cut out a small section just to get the tub out...without looking behind the drywall.
Umm, yeah. He knicked a copper water pipe.

I purposely did not take picture of the wall that he took out...on the other side (to get a better angle with the blow torch). I did not take a picture of the failure, or any of the re-attempts. I did not take a picture of the handyman that came and did it for us (on Day Three). I did not take a picture of the drywall company fixing (on Day Four) the ceiling below this area (because even 30 seconds of water before being turned off by the main shut-off valve creates a big, big mess).
It was only Day One.
